WThis is a home-style take on a drink found on our latest cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized premix that is loaded full of essence of a festive period, rendering it perfect for hosting a festive gathering. Any leftover citrus syrup you can use for morning drinks, sweets, or to make additional servings of this cocktail.

Makes enough for 10 people
Ingredients for the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Instructions
To prepare the Cordial: Put every components in a pot, heat until it reaches a simmer, agitating until the sugar dissolves. Then, turn off the stove allowing it to reach room temperature completely. Decant into a sealable bottle, cap it and refrigerate it in the refrigerator, it will last for around one month.
To make Batch Mix: Mix the specified liquid ingredients into a large bottle, let it rest for 60 minutes, then pass it through best through muslin, so it's fully clarified.
For serving: Measure 85ml from the premix into your mixing glass containing ice, and agitate gently for one minute to chill. Pour into a cold coupe glass or similar, decorate with a few cranberries adding the final touch using a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
